The Altius Academic Pre Bachelor Programme is a 9-month pathway that prepares ambitious students with an international educational background for admission to a Bachelor's programme at the Faculty of Science & Engineering at the University of Groningen.

This programme helps you transition into academic education. You will build the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to succeed at university level.
Academic preparation
Develop the academic skills, subject knowledge and English proficiency needed to start a Bachelor’s programme, including support in making a well-informed study choice. Successfully completing the Pre Bachelor Programme gives you direct access to a Bachelor’s programme at the Faculty of Science & Engineering.
Housing included
Housing is included and arranged in carefully selected apartments in Groningen. This means you will not just have a place to stay, but a comfortable home base where you can live, study and settle into student life.
Accommodation is arranged by the programme, allowing you to focus fully on your studies and transition to life in Groningen.
